April was a super busy month for Magnifique! Thank you to all who supported us at the many events we participated in! The band auction was a success, and we look forward to working with the winner! Connect with Groveport was a lot of fun--we LOVED meeting with all who attended! May is also filled with many fun events! Don't forget Magnifique for your Mother's Day celebrations, and later in May for Memorial Day and graduation parties! We would love the opportunity to make your spring event Magnifique!

From 4-7pm Friday, May 2nd come out to the Groveport Recreation Center and connect with over 50 businesses and organizations from around the Groveport area. Admission is free and there will be raffles for all kinds of great prizes. Magnifique Cakes is setting up a table with some adorable display cakes, a raffle to win a free dessert, pictures of past Magnifique treats, all kinds of fun brochures and best of all...samples!!! Come out and support Groveport and Magnifique Cakes!

Much Ado About Nothing

You are cordially invited to attend the wedding of Hero and Claudio April 24-May 3 at the Groveport Town Hall. Rosebriar Shakespeare Company presents “Much Ado About Nothing” and YOU get to be part of the festivities and staging! Join the fun, love, betrayal and forgiveness with fellow revelers On Sunday, April 27, Students with a valid Student ID are invited for the price of a donation. After the performance the cast will conduct a “Talk Back” where students and fellow audience members can discuss the Production, Shakespeare, Rosebriar and the actors’ experiences. MAGNIFIQUE CAKES will be providing a cake on that afternoon and Emmily and Courtney will be cutting and serving. MAGNIFIQUE CAKES will also be providing cupcakes for concession. A delicious MAGNIFIQUE cupcake and glass of something sparkling will be for sale-what a perfect combination! Come to see the show, and support the theatre! Come to see the show on Sunday April 27th, and support Magnifique Cakes!

An Evening of Jazz

Please join the Groveport Madison High School Band Boosters for their Third Annual "An Evening of Jazz" & Silent Auction on Friday, April 25, 2008 from 7:00pm – 9:00pm at Asbury United Methodist Church, 4760 Winchester Pike Columbus, Ohio 43232 (phone 837-4601).  The GMHS Freshman Jazz Band, the GMHS Jazz Band & the GMHS Jazz Ensemble will be performing throughout the evening.  For the cost of admission ($5.00) event attendees will be entertained while they dine on appetizers and punch, as well as bid on the many items generously donated to the Boosters for the Silent Auction. MAGNIFIQUE CAKES is donating a 25 serving birthday cake to the highest bidder! Come to the auction and support the band as well as MAGNIFIQUE CAKES! Doors open at 6:30pm and admission is paid at the door.

FINALLY, the weather is nice, the snow has melted, the sun has come out-and there is no better time to throw a Magnifique party than now! Mother's Day is hastily approaching, Spring birthdays, outdoor activities, end of the year banquets, and family picnics are all great reasons to make your next event Magnifique! Bierberg Mercantile

Saturday March 15, 2008 (this Saturday!) the Bierberg Mercantile, a part of Go Groveport! is having it's 1st birthday and Magnifique will be providing the cake! The party starts at 10am and goes throughout the day! Local merchants will be holding a raffle for gift certificates good for use at the Mercantile! Go Groveport! is located on Main Street in Groveport, Ohio and is a great place to support local businesses and find amazing deals! For directions, click here

Hello!! It is March and it is still snowing!!!  Spring will be here soon..hopefully : ).... and so will Spring Break and Easter.   At Magnifigue Cakes we have so many ideas for fun spring break parties to keep your children from having SPRING FEVER!! Remember Magnifique for your Easter celebrations, birthday parties, and escapes from the snow! Have a winter luau, throw a beach party, plan an indoor picnic, or create your own version of the winter Olympics with help from Magnifique! We hope the warm weather comes soon, but while the snow is here, make the most of it! As always, please continue check out our newsletter, myspace page, and great new merchandise! Happy New Year! We wish everyone a fabulous and Magnifique new year filled with lots of good luck and cake!

As you can see, we are making some major changes around the site and our favorite is definitely the new Merchandise section! Take a look and order your favorite Magnifique apparel for you and your family! We love the designs and think you will, too!

Our site isn't the only thing that got a Magnifique make-over--our monthly newsletter is all new and delicious also! This month features new services like helium balloon bouquets and party rentals, new treats, and most notably, children's party ideas! Coming soon to the site is a new downloads section where you will be able to download brochures for all of our services and party packages, as well as our monthly newsletters!

New to our menu of services is definitely something to party about! Magnifique Cakes is now inflating your favorite characters in the form of helium balloons! Order a bouquet for a single recipient, or a whole party's worth! We have balloons for any theme, and can't wait to add them to your next pastry order.
